Far Away Friends Netsuke Set

Netsukes ("net-skees") are adorable, detailed figurines that are common in Japanese culture, tied to the sash of a kimono. Traditionally, netsukes are carved from ivory or wood - so you know your hand-carved Danforth Pewter netsuke is truly unique! The Far Away Friends set contains the Koala, Whale, and Elephant.

Netsukes make perfect game pieces, fun surprises for a child, or decorations on a desk, bookshelf, or window. Make up a game, leave them for a friend to find, or take them with you for good luck! 

Like all objects of this scale, netsukes can pose choking hazards for small children, so please supervise responsibly.

Because we craft each netsuke by hand, all dimensions are approximate. Subtle variations are natural.
