Snowflake Bentley 2017 Scatter Pin

This lapel pin is made from the photograph chosen by the Jericho, Vermont Historical Society for the 2017 Snowflake Bentley limited edition design. A stellar plate crystal with fine, lacy extensions, this is the first snowflake in the collection which features a distinct double star cutout pattern giving way to a small intricate star burst center.

Wilson Bentley was the first person to photograph an individual snow crystal. During his lifetime, he captured over 5,000 snowflakes, and showed the world that no two are alike. We are proud to hold the special privilege of using Bentley's work to create gorgeous Christmas ornaments for your tree.
