The solid shape of the pendant draws on the geometric sturdiness of a square, while its rounded edges denote softness and fluidness—a key element of inner stability. The well of blue-green teal in the center symbolizes the depth of a stable soul.
Like all Danforth jewelry, each necklace is made by hand in our Middlebury, Vermont workshop.
Pewter is nickel-free and hypoallergenic, making it ideal for even highly sensitive skin.

I have bought several items from Danforth Pewter. I purchased this necklace last week but it is not the quality I am used to. There are several darkened spots on the pendant which I didn't notice at first and unfortunately I tore the packaging when I opened it so it can't be returned. In addition the necklace sounds very tinny on the chain. If the description didn't say it was a silver chain I would think it was stainless steal. This will be my last purchase.

We have been coming to the store for the past five years or so. We have a couple of the smaller lamps that we have purchased along with ornaments and other jewelry.
