The shape of the Abbey Cup is designed to enhance the experience of drinking a complex and flavorful brew such as top-fermented and bottle conditioned Trappist Ale. The wide body gathers aromas and the narrower rim, acting like a chimney, directs those aromas right to your nose. Of course, the Abbey Cup is a great vessel for anything you like to drink and makes a strong statement on your table.
Pewter is an excellent choice for cold drinks. It retains a pleasant chill, trapping in a liquid's coldness, which makes it perfect for a cold beer or other iced drink.
Please note: It is not advisable to drink hot liquids out of pewter mugs.
All Danforth barware is spun by hand in our Middlebury, Vermont workshop and meets or exceeds all FDA food-safety standards. We recommend hand-washing pewter barware with warm soap and water, then drying it completely.
Sold individually.

Beautiful
We got a set of these for our anniversary, with both our initials on them. As beautiful as silver, but with none of the hassle. And we avoid gold, that has become a bit tacky, for all its value, and difficult to coordinate. Pewter is perfect.
