Cobblestone Necklace

For many people, cobblestones represent a feeling of being rooted in history, a sense of place and community. For Danforth, they’re especially meaningful because several of our stores are located on or near cobblestone streets, some dating back to 1759.

With that in mind, we created this unique, handcrafted design: the Cobblestone Necklace. We hope it serves as a meaningful reminder of a place that’s important to you, whether that’s a vacation in a seaport town, growing up in a New England village, or exploring the stories that built an historic downtown.

Pewter is an excellent choice for jewelry, even for those with sensitive skin, because it is hypoallergenic and nickel-free. This piece is cast in classic pewter and assembled by human hands in our Middlebury, Vermont workshop.
