What's a netsuke, you ask? It's a miniature figurine used in Japanese culture on the sash of a kimono. Traditionally, netsukes are carved from wood or ivory �so you know your hand-carved Danforth Pewter netsuke is one of a kind! The Feathered Friends "setske" contains the customer favorites Owl, Bird, and Chicken.
Netsukes make perfect game pieces, fun surprises for a child, or decorations on a desk, bookshelf, or window. Make up a game, leave them for a friend to find, or take them with you for good luck!
Like all small objects, these can pose choking hazards for small children, so please supervise responsibly.
All our netsukes are available individually, or in sets of Furry Friends (Bear Cub, Dog, Cat), Feathered Friends (Owl, Chicken, Bird), Farm Friends (Cow, Pig, Pony), and Forest Friends (Rabbit, Squirrel, Hedgehog). Sets come packaged in a muslin pouch. Collect them all!
