Snowflake Bentley

In 1885, the Vermont farmer Wilson Bentley attached a bellows camera to a microscope and became the first person to photograph a single snow crystal. "Snowflake" Bentley would go on to capture over 5,000 snowflakes...and he never found two alike. Today, Danforth Pewter has the privilege of being commissioned by the Jericho Historical Society to create one design each year based on one of "Snowflake" Bentley's images.

Here you'll find our new 2024 Snowflake Bentley designs as well as a selection of past years' Bentley designs. Typically, we stop selling these when we run out of inventory. By special arrangement, we are pleased to offer you a chance to purchase these items.

Some promotion codes may not be applied to Snowflake Bentley items because they are specially commissioned pieces.
