The heart of any manger scene is the Holy Family: Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus, plus two sheep. This solid pewter Nativity set is handcrafted in the USA . Danforth's miniature set fits perfectly in small areas such as a windowsill, mantle, or bookcase.
The complete Nativity collection consists of 39 pieces plus a wooden stable. Many of the figurines are available individually or in smaller sets, making this the perfect holiday tradition that you can add to each year.
The Holy Family Nativity Set was originally designed by W.T. Wilson, and is now crafted by hand by our talented pewter artisans in our workshop in Middlebury, Vermont.

Danforth Nativity Set (Holy Family)
Beautifully detailed and well packaged. The Holy Family was very well sculpted and you could easily see the expressions on the faces, something I was worried about with the small scale. The sheep were even beautifully created. I'm very happy with the gift.

The nativity is a perfect gift for those who are religious or not. The craftsmanship is amazing and it is fun to keep adding pieces of the collection annually. The children gift as Christmas gifts to their teachers (attend a private school). If we have a repeat teacher a year or so later we give the wisemen instead!

A Lovely Gift
This nativity scene is a lovely gift for those who celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. I'm sending it to a friend in France because I can add pieces every year, because of the fine craftsmanship, the fact that it's made in the USA and because the shipping cost will be minimal.

Like Coming Home
While visiting your site (after visiting your store last August) I saw the nativity items and decided I would begin a new tradition and set up a creche beneath our Christmas tree. (When I was little, all we could afford was a little plastic set). I began with the Holy Family and I am so pleased with my purchases. The figurines are beautiful and realistic, but the whole thing is small enough that it doesn't overwhelm our crowded NYC apartment. We now have a dozen figurines and will add to our collection for next Christmas. Thank you for producing these lovely pieces!
