Why you should visit us in Portland
Portland is a beautiful small walkable seaside city of artists, musicians, theatres, museums’, shops, restaurateurs and a working waterfront. Commercial Street in Portland, Maine, blurs the distinctions among working waterfront, downtown main street, and an historic tourist district.
Visitors would be well advised to come to our store because of our story, our excitement about the product, our location, the interesting space we are in and our surroundings here in the Old Port. People are drawn to the antiquity of our space and our decor as well and the area we are located in. We are also very knowledgeable about Portland, the surrounding area and Maine in general. People love the Danforth product and appreciate the story and all that goes into our product. In our store, you will also find Made in Maine cutting boards and maple syrup. We are located right next to Simon Pearce Glassware and Company C.
