Great collection starter
Having many neices and nephews that are now young adults, i thought starting them with an ornament collection would be a great idea. What better ornament to start off the collection, than Santa himself on a sleigh! The details on this ornament are beautiful, even on the back! Its a nice size for a tree or hanging on display in your house (i found similar ornaments in a catalog that i considered buying, but the were actually very small when i got to see them in the store). I also considered ball ornament collections, but i really liked the fact that pewter won't break like glass balls would. The price is great! I would spend just as much, if not more, one an ornament collection anywhere else.
