Another beautiful ornament from Danforth for our tree
We've been buying holiday ornaments from Danforth since we discovered their great shop in Burlington about 5 years ago. Every new addition is a true work of art. The 2018 annual ornament is no exception. I love the way it incorporates twilight colors and sparkle into an evocation of a winter's eve in pewter.

Ornaments
For more than forty years I've been been giving ornaments to my daughters and grand children. Some of these ornaments never made the test of time. Several years ago, I can across Danforth pewter ornaments. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the artistic quality. The ornament for 2018 is outstanding. The design truly depicts a New England scene. Living in New England, one can relate. Three of my daughters currently live out west, between Arizona and Utah. The Silent Night ornament is an excellent reminder of the beauty of a New England winter. To truly appreciate the beauty and detail, view it in the sunlight.
