Our Tapestry / Cobalt Large Barrette is the perfect hairpiece for thick hair that can be hard to tame. It has a nice weight to it that keeps hair in place all day, and its subtle hues of blue add a stylist detail to your look.

All Danforth products are made by hand in our Middlebury, Vermont workshop by our talented pewter artisans.

Gorgeous colbalt barrette 5

This is a unique and gorgeous cobalt barrette. I love colbalt as a color and was very happy to find a barrette that could hold my hair in a pony tail.

Your barrettes are very beautiful. I buy the large size and I have thick hair and they hold the hair very well. They stand up to every day use. The detail is just lovely!

I bought the cobalt tapestry large barrette probably 15 years ago (maybe more) at Frog Hollow in Burlington, VT. I loved then, and do now, the look of the enamel over pewter, and am writing this review because this has been one of my favorite purchases ever. I have used this barrette for years (often daily) to twist and clip up my hair, and the mechanism still works, and the clip is still as lovely as it was. I've gone through many hair clips in that time, and this one is the best I've ever used. I bought a second one with a less robust spring, but it, too, still works, and is still lovely.

I was lucky enough to get this barrette in the pink color from the mother in law, it's such a great hair accessory that I use it all the time. I've had mine since 2013, and it hasn't started to get loose or anything. It's very well made, looks great with any outfit. I may buy this blue one as well!

I purchased one of these in the store many years ago, I was very dissapointed when I lost it as it's been my go to Barrette since I got it. I am very pleased to replace it. The high standards of quality and elegance have been maintained. I would buy another in a heartbeat.Large clip is great for full, thick hair.

This is a unique and gorgeous cobalt barrette. I love colbalt as a color and was very happy to find a barrette that could hold my hair in a pony tail.
