This is such a charming and nostalgic ornament! I love the design. I purchased it when it first came out and again this past Christmas to give as a gift. I was a bit disappointed to find that the newer ornament had a totally different look to it—it had been polished to a bright shine. The ornaments used to have a deeper patina to them, with highs and lows that really brought out all of their wonderful details. I really miss the old patina that made each ornament look hand-crafted (as they are) rather than mass-produced.

I have glasses with this painted on them, so I added this to my centerpiece. It is the perfect finishing touch to my table.

The Keeper is the second ornament I've purchased from Danforth, and like the first one, it is beautifully crafted. I look forward to building my Danforth ornament collections.

Your pewter ornaments are always superbly made and very detailed. I buy at least 3 each year for friends. They really look forward to finding out which ones they are receiving each year. I also have the 12 days of Christmas pewter bells. Wonderful detail on each. I look forward to putting up my tabletop black iron tree each year to display my pewter ornaments and bells. Thank you!

Every Christmas I give each of my grandchildren a new ornament. I recently learned that the ones from Danforth are my grandson's favorites. This ornament was one that he picked out when he recently visited the Danforth Pewter store. I love the quality of Danforth Pewter and the ability to have the ornaments engraved.

I cherish all of the ornaments you have made. These were purchased for my granddaughter's wedding. I don't think I would want to have something for the rest of her life unless the quality was superb.
