Just Beautiful!
The Great Blue Heron Ornament is so beautiful that I chose to wear it as a pendant. Friends immediately commented on how pretty it is. I also loved everything I have received from Danforth Pewter as it is so original and well made.

Heron Ornament
Ever since my mother died more than 20 years ago, our home on a lake has been unexpectedly visited by a large grey/blue heron that is not native to our area. There have been similar sightings at large family events, like weddings. As my mom had been an avid bird watcher, it felt very natural that she continued to visit our family as this heron. When I saw this ornament from Danforth, it seemed the perfect Christmas gift to give to my brothers and sisters. It is an exact replica of the Heron, and has been welcomed with much emotion when family members have opened the box !
