This hot little number is for fans of all things Chili.

Did you know that Chili peppers have been a part of the human diet in the Americas since at least 7500 BC? Capsaicin, which makes hot peppers hot to the human mouth, is best neutralized by casein, the main protein found in milk. So, next time you eat a pepper that is TOO hot, grab a glass of milk to help cool things down!

The Chili pepper keyring is handcrafted in our Middlebury workshop. Cast in solid pewter and hand-painted a transparent red on both sides.

Chili pepper measures 1 7/8" tall plus the keyring finding and comes packaged on a Danforth ID card.
