Stunning pendant with one flaw
The maple leaf pendant is gorgeous! and large enough to catch the light and be striking. The color variations and shadings make it look real. One of the best parts of Danforth pewter pendants is that the backside is as beautiful and 'finished' as the front. The black cord necklace works well with it, although the clasp is floppy and tiny making it difficult to make sure it is fastened securely. The big flaw is the folded metal loop connecting the pendant to the cord. Recommend you reinforce with clear thread or fishline because the loop will pull open if any part of the necklace catches on something allowing the pendant to fall off.
