The 2010 Annual Ornament Mistletoe & Holly captures the delicate beauty of its two namesakes, which are traditional symbols of Christmas. Mistletoe and holly both stay green through the winter and are natural symbols of life and rebirth at the darkest time of the year. It is said that Druids used mistletoe in their mid-winter celebrations, and in the European middle ages people decorated their doors with holly for good luck. Over the centuries mistletoe and holly have become part of the holiday tradition.

Very Attractive Ornament
My wife and I have a high regard for Danforth's Christmas ornaments. We didn't have the mistletoe and holly ornament, so I ordered it to complete the botanic collection. We're both very happy that I did. The ornament is well made, reasonable in cost, colorful, and good looking.

Lovely ornament perfect for occasion
I ordered the Mistletoe and Holly ornament as a gift for a friend who has been the General Chair for the past 13 years of a church bazaar named Mistletoe Magic. She has stepped down this year and I wanted to commemorate her service. The ornament is so perfect that I ordered one for myself as well. I have not yet given it to her but I know she will love it as much as I do.

Beautiful ornament!
For a gift I bought the Mistletoe and Holly brooch pin for someone. However, I thought I would like this design as a necklace pendant for myself. So I bought this ornament, removed the ribbon, added a small silver ring and suspended it from a silver chain. It is beautiful and I received so many compliments on it. Some people said that it inspired them to look at other ornaments for this purpose. I very much enjoyed wearing it during the holiday season.
