The perfect gift for any horse or pony lover, our Pony Netsuke perfectly captures the spirit of this beautiful animal in miniature. This figurine is cast by hand in solid pewter in our workshop in Middlebury, Vermont.

What is a netsuke, you ask? Netsukes (pronounced "net-skees") are miniature animal figurines, traditionally tied to the sash of a Japanese kimono. They are usually carved into wood or ivory. Our pewter netsukes are a twist on the traditional ones, and many people like to collect them all as additions to their fairy or gnome gardens, or to use as game pieces, party favors, or stocking stuffers.

Horses and ponies symbolize strength, freedom, beauty, majesty, and spirit. They are also known for their emotional intelligence, used in equine therapy to heal trauma and anxiety.

Our Pony Netsuke measures 1 1/8" long x 3/4" tall x 3/8" wideIt is also available as part of the Farm Friends set along with the Pig and Cow netsuke

Our netsukes are made of solid pewter and measure approximately 3/4 inches tall and 3/8" inches wide. Like all small objects, these can pose choking hazards for small children, so please supervise responsibly.
