President's Mug with George Washington Coin

The President's Mug features a real Presidential coin mounted in the bottom and is accented with a traditional double "C" handle mounted on a slant.

The slant-handled mug facilitated "bending the elbow" to a mug of ale in the crowded colonial pubs. Consider adding a monogram or inscription for a more personal touch. Originally a Shirley Pewter design, this vessel is now proudly handcrafted in Danforth Pewter's workshop in Middlebury, Vermont.

Danforth pewter meets or exceeds all FDA food-safety standards. It is not advisable to drink hot drinks out of pewter because of the metal's melting point. To clean, simply wash with warm water and soap and dry completely with a soft cloth.
