Our Serenity line of jewelry was designed to symbolize the sense of peace that flows from within, that state of being that gives one a radiant glow, an appreciation for simplicity, and a quiet sense of tranquility. We hope our Serenity Wire Earrings will be a reminder that that state is always possible.
The Serenity dangling earrings are made by hand from fine lead-free pewter in our Middlebury, Vermont workshop.
Danforth pewter is lead-free, nickel-free, and hypoallergenic, so it is ideal even for sensitive skin.
Because we craft every piece of jewelry by hand, all dimensions are approximate. Subtle variations are natural.
I purchased a pair of Serenity earrings about 10 years ago, and they were among my favorite earrings. They looked good with any clothing. Alas, I lost one earring while serenely walking through a nature reserve and was so excited to learn that Danforth still made these earrings. Less than a week after my earring was lost, I had Serenity earrings again.
I make jewelry as a hobby/occupation but I can't touch these. I don't know how long I had my first pair or when I bought them, and I must be on my third or fourth pair....no fault of Danforth: “Oh, don't you love them? Here, take mine!” Time for another order!
