The Spruce Oil Lamp is the medium in the Evergreen Family, a three-piece series of handspun pewter oil lamps designed and crafted in our Middlebury, Vermont studio. The elegant curves in this piece remind us of the conifers that grace our Vermont countryside. The hammered ring around the base glimmers and sparkles in any lighting.
Danforth oil lamps provide a reliable and utterly unique type of lighting, and many people love to illuminate their homes with these gorgeous works of art, that also happen to come in handy during a power outage.
Many people love to gift our oil lamps for weddings, anniversaries, housewarming, thank you, life achievement, and other momentous occasions. Since each oil lamp is spun individually by hand by one of our talented pewter spinners, all dimensions are approximate. Subtle variations are natural.
- The total height is approximately 10 1/2 inches, including glass globe
- The pewter base measures approximately 4 inches in diameter
- Oil capacity is approximately 8 ounces (do not overfill, 2/3 is a good standard) providing 16-24 hours of burn time
- We recommend clear, smokeless, odorless, clean-burning fuel, like liquid paraffin oil or Firefly lamp oil, available on our website HERE
- Packaged in a gift box with Danforth care card, instructions and story.

7” lamp
This lamp is more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Came in a very nice box, very well wrapped and came quickly. Will buying additional lamps in the future.

Excellent Addition to My Collection
Over the years, I've purchased several Oil Lamps. The quality of workmanship is superb. Having several daughters, in time they will be pasted down to them. I look forward to any forthcoming designs.

This is probably the nicest oil lamp I’ve used. I love them, and it screams quality. It is somewhat smaller than I envisioned, but not a deal breaker. Very nice lamp.
