    The netsuke whale and bird I ordered are SO cute. I never worry about the quality of pewter items made by Danforth. I think I placed my order a day before Cyber Monday and paid full shipping. Had I waited one day, the shipping would have been free, and the shipping actually cost more than the items I purchased. Maybe your website could advise buyers of upcoming changes in shipping costs so that we could take advantage of them. Best wishes for the Holidays to you, and keep up the good work on your product.

    QUALITY way better than the pictures reveal on line. Superb customer service . I have 20 grandchildren and each year at Christmas I give them a small token which they have to draw out of a bag so that each picks the token meant for them. This is the last year I am doing this so I wanted a special token for them and I chose Danforth's Netsukes. I asked if they could package separately and did not really expect them to that for such small inexpensive items BUT THEY DID. Now that is customer service at its best.

    The whale is adorable. I have friends who like whales & they should enjoy this at Christmas. The whale blowing is a great touch.
