Lovely
I buy Danforth ornaments every year for my family and friends. I have had this one since it was released. I subtracted one star because they no longer give the option of engraving the front middle bottom of plate under the cookies (this is where I placed the year on my ornament). I find this disappointing. To someone else this might mean nothing, but I place the year on all my ornaments because someday my son will inherit them all and that will be part of his memories of xmas. They have been his favorite ornaments to place on the tree since he was little -- we keep the Danforth boxes and write inside each box the name of the ornament and we place a "to/from" sticker inside or outside each box along with the date. It's just important to me. I bought this one for a good friend who also loves to bake sugar cookies at xmas. I hope she likes it. I laminated the sugar cookie recipe that came with the ornament and punched a hole in the plastic then looped the satin ribbon through it.
